We had a really enjoyable time in this traditional hotel in Almagro. It was in the centre of Almagro, and steps away from a performing arts theater. There was plenty of lovely meals.

We stayed in a superior queen room with air conditioner, a mini bar, and a work desk. The vibe here was quiet! The location was great and excellent, to the international classic theatre festival, and the bed very comfy.
Some of the staff were so relaxed.

The hotel had a very unique and charming atmosphere with its antique furniture and beautiful decor. The owner was extremely helpful and friendly, providing us with umbrellas during the torrential rain and even a heater to keep us warm. The location of the hotel was excellent, being central yet quiet. We also enjoyed the free on-street parking nearby, which made it convenient for us to explore the town.
we were not informed beforehand that the swimming pool was out of bounds until June, which was a letdown considering the hot weather. We also missed having coffee making facilities in the room, especially during cold weather when there was no nearby bar to get a hot drink.

A beautiful labyrinth of a house, furnished with antiques. Modern bathrooms. There is an 8m swimming pool in one of the 4 patios. The owner´s mother greeted me and gave me a guided tour of the whole house and made me feel very welcome. The location is good - a few minutes walk to the Plaza Mayor and there was on street parking in the next street.
Generally all was very good. The only point I would make is that the light was very dim in the bathroom and as my room on the ground floor gave onto an internal patio, I kept the blind in the bedroom lowered. This meant putting make-up on/contact lenses in a bit hit and miss! The owners live in an adjoining house across the patio and share the pool, so it is more like staying in someone´s house than at a hotel. This is not something I did not like, I just mention it.

The staff at the hotel was very helpful in spite of our lack of Spanish. It was 1 block from the Plaza Major with many outside tapas cafeterias. Very comfortable beds! Parking was listed as unavailable but there was plenty of free street parking. We traveled in May. Our needs were accommodated nicely when the staff determined that our room was on the second floor and my 87 y.o. mother would be more comfortable on the ground floor. Hotel full of wonderful surprises and courtyards!

The accommodation was quirky with amiable staff. The location in centre of Almagro with street parking was marvellous and magnificent. And we were really close to great local tapas bars and restaurants, the Plaza Mayor and main attractions in Almagro and the cool, calm, sanctuary of the house. The stay was such great.
The hotel staff was so relaxed.

The hotel's location was magnificent, just next door to the cool, calm, sanctuary as well as the village centre. Had very comfortable experience, the room I stayed in was impeccably clean and huge with antique furniture, an extremely comfortable bed, beautiful bathroom. Welcoming and lovely staff, gave a lot of information. Actually everything was lovely, my next choice again in Almagro.

We stayed at Hotel Rural Tia Pilar for a few nights and it was a delightful experience. The hotel is a beautifully refurbished ancient house, with tastefully decorated rooms that are reminiscent of the early 20th century. The location couldn't have been better, just a short distance from the main square, making it convenient for exploring the town's attractions such as churches, palaces, museums. The owner, Mercedes, was wonderful and eagerly shared the history of the house with us. The bathroom was modern, a pleasant contrast to the 17th-century building. The bedroom furniture was incredibly comfortable, as if it had always belonged there. The breakfast was lively and delicious, truly one of the best we've had in Spain. The staff was kind and accommodating, even though they had to call in an English speaker for the check-in and check-out process. this hotel provided a unique and enriching experience.
We do recommend this hotel.

This was a wonderful experience. The family and surroundings were excellent. A little difficult to find initially but once there it was heaven. The town is beautiful and friendly far from the crowds of the big city. We are very sorry we could not stay longer but if we are ever in the region again we will not hesitate to return.

Our hostess had no English but made every effort to communicate with us (who have little Spanish) and this was remarkably effective. She was a lovely woman for whom no effort was too great. My partner was particularly delighted by the home cooked fare at breakfast, which included tortilla and doughnuts. The room was a delight, beautifully furnished with plenty of storage and a small lounge area joining bathroom and bedroom. The hotel was a maze of courtyards and buildings - absolutely fascinating - and filled with interesting objects. There were several places to sit outside, including a sun terrace, the area around the swimming pool and several shaded courtyards. Almagro itsefl was a lovely town with interesting history - just big enough to be very interesting without being too busy and oppressive. Although there was no parking on site, there was ample free parking on adjacent roads. An amazing experience.
There was nothing to dislike about this hotel.

Had a fantastic stay in a lovely Spanish-style house in the heart of a charming town. The hosts were wonderful, providing top-notch service and a warm atmosphere. The house was furnished with beautiful antiques but also had modern amenities such as air conditioning and Wi-Fi. The pool in the courtyard was the perfect way to cool off after a day of exploring the town. Great location within walking distance to all the main attractions and plenty of parking available nearby. Delicious breakfast with lots of options.
The staff were not very proficient in English, which made communication a bit challenging. , there was no onsite parking, which could be an issue during busier periods.

This is a delightful small hotel, which oozes character and charm. It is authentically decorated, with a number of small internal courtyards. There is also a small swimming pool with a sun terrace. Situated right in the centre of Almagro, it is ideally placed for walking around the town and to the numerous bars and restaurants. Our bedroom was very comfortable and had a fabulous massage shower in the en-bathroom. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.
There was nothing that we did not like - there is nothing to dislike.
